All the concepts and ideas presented were logical, practical, and had the best interest of all the students in mind. I really enjoyed my day and have a new outlook on classroom management. I recommend this seminar to anyone who works with children!
Karissa Flieth, M.Ed.National Trainer, Curriculum Coordinator, Teacher and Administrative Coach
Hope, laughter, and practical solutions for teachers.
Karissa has spent 25 years in schools, starting as an aide and moving into classroom teaching, then school administration and leadership. She trains teachers in Time To Teach classroom management.
To understand the scope of education we must fully understand the human person.
In her words
I am a 25+ year veteran of all things education who brings hope, laughter, and best of all, practical solutions to teachers challenged by the diverse students who enter classrooms. Some of the feedback I consistently receive is my ability to relate to today's education professionals. I speak to the honesty of our anxious society and how that affects not only our students but ourselves as educators.
I am a performer by nature having started college in 1997 as a vocal performance major as well as K-12 music education ultimately ending up in general education with music and performing remaining a passion. Public speaking and training has allowed me to connect personally with an "audience" of teachers.
I have been recognized as a dynamic and engaging speaker as I have truly "been there," which makes me able to share strategies designed to put you back into the driver's seat. Educators that are with me for training will leave feeling confident with tools to use right away.
Her path in education
Karissa has taught in Montessori schools, public schools, a school of music, and private Catholic schools. Today she is the Coordinator of Curriculum and Teacher Development for JPII Catholic Schools (PK-12) in Fargo, North Dakota.
She gives breakout sessions, full-day trainings and keynotes, and she works with school districts as a national trainer for the Center for Teacher Effectiveness.
